Utthita Parvakonasana

Parsva means side or Flank, Kona is an angle. This is the extended lateral angle pose. To do this pose yogi should stand in tadasana  (mountain pose) take a deep inhalation and spread the legs apart side ways. Slowly you may turn the right foot sideways in 90 degree facing the right side and left foot slowly to the right. keeping the left leg stretched out and tightened at the knee. Placed your right palm on the floor or just placed it on your right thigh. Bring your left leg up near to your left ear and keep the head up.
